Hikes, bikes, and canoe trips are taken at your own risk. Bring water and food, energy bars, rain gear, bicycle tire repair kit, emergency gear (ask Glenn or Geoff about this) and first aid supplies. Wear proper clothing for the activity. Synthetic materials are best rather than cotton, as synthetics wick away moisture. Bring sun screen, mosquito repellant and a hat. Bring bear spray. Please be in shape to do the difficult hikes and be sure to wear sturdy hiking boots, preferably with good ankle support. A hiking stick is a always good idea.
