Panhandle Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Club
The Panhandle Nordic Club was founded in 1988 by North Idahoans interested in promoting winter recreational activities. The club welcomes people of all ages and skill levels. The Nordic Club in association with the US Forest Service and the Idaho State Parks and Rec Dept manages the 4th of July Nordic Ski area. The Club also sponsors day trips, long weekend ski and snowshoe trips as well as summer activities to include day hikes, weekend backpacking trips, kayak and bicycle day outings.
Park & Ski pass sales provide the funds for PNC to maintain 4th of July Pass recreation area. The average annual cost to maintain equipment and groom the trails is $5000.oo Please select Area 11 so the funds come back to this area.
Due to Covid-19 there will be no in person meetings at this time. A monthly newsletter will be posted in Club News in place of a meeting. Be safe and get out and use the trails this season not only for your physical health but also for your mental health. Thank you for supporting PNC
