Rock Soup – A Club Tradition

Join us at the Warming Hut for our annual Rock Soup gathering! Soup-making will begin around noon, with serving expected between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. We’ll keep serving until the soup is gone or everyone’s had their fill. Bowls and spoons will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Snow or no snow, everyone is encouraged to come enjoy the fun and camaraderie. Skiing or snowshoeing may be limited, but walking or biking are great ways to work up an appetite. This year’s soup will be vegetable-based, made with broth and water—so please bring a vegetable ingredient to add (fresh, frozen, or canned). If you’d like meat in your soup, bring it along (pre-cooked if possible) and add it to your serving; a fry pan will be available if needed.

Feel free to bring snacks, fruit, or other treats to share, as well as your favorite beverages. Water and hot chocolate will be provided, and BYOB is always welcome. Come for the soup, stay for the community—it’s a simple, warm, and much-loved club tradition.
